Art&Learn – Watercolour Evening with Kristiina Roots at K28

Art&Learn – a watercolour evening and workshop: GO WITH THE FLOW

Have you admired watercolours and thought you’d like to try them yourself? Come to Studio K28, where artist Kristiina Roots will help you get started with your first brushstrokes or discover something new in a technique you already know.

Kristiina will help you get into the flow, explore watercolour as an independent medium and enjoy an authentic painting experience. Rather than simply copying the instructor’s movements step by step, you’ll express your own idea using the qualities of watercolour. The instructor will show you the true palette of watercolour and introduce you to its rules of play, so you can then break them elegantly.

Watercolour is often described as delicate, temperamental, difficult, frivolous and, to top it all off, not long-lasting… But I’ll show you otherwise! I’ll help you become friends with it.

ART&Learn is an evening for anyone who wants to learn something new and try it out in a creative atmosphere. Bring a friend or come on your own! The price includes all artist-grade materials and light refreshments, and of course you’ll take your finished painting home with you.
