5th Estonian Zero Waste Conference: A Resource-Smart Future

In previous years, we have met to discuss the principles of zero-waste management, which circular economy solutions work, and how to change systems. This year’s conference offers an opportunity to meet companies and local governments that already follow zero-waste management principles and helps identify ways to increase the competitiveness of such solutions. In the workshops, we will analyse the role of environmentally responsible procurement and events, how technology and innovation can be both obstacles and enablers, and what local governments can do in practice. Over two days, we will bring together companies, local governments, experts and practitioners to: discuss which policies, procurements and monitoring mechanisms help zero-waste solutions compete with today’s wasteful practices; visit places where zero waste is the foundation of the business model; and learn about the Zero Waste Certificate, which helps companies and local governments move towards clear objectives and measurable results. 19 November is the conference day, including discussions and workshops, and 20 November is the excursion day, when we will jointly visit two factories in the circular economy sector in Ida-Virumaa. Transport from Narva to the factories is included in the price. ❗ The number of tickets is limited! 20 one-day tickets are available. 30 two-day tickets are available.
